Cassady and Andrew’s wedding at White Oak 1838 Venue on July 25, 2026, was the perfect celebration of love, family, and heartfelt tradition. The day was everything you hope for in a midsummer wedding with clear blue skies, warm sunshine, and countless meaningful moments shared with the people who love them most.

For me, this wedding was especially meaningful. Cassady and I attended the same middle school, where her dad served as our principal, making their emotional first look even more special to witness. To top it off, Cassady’s hairstylist was another fellow Fairview girl, and it was such a joy to spend the day surrounded by so many familiar faces. Cassady even had little personalized gift bags not only gor her bridal party but also her vendors. Brides like her are truly one of a kind. Though I never expect gifts, tips, or anything extra from my couples, to be thought of and appreciated in that way on THEIR wedding day, it just means everything to me. I am so grateful to have been part of this moment for them, it truly felt like coming home.

The morning was filled with excitement, beginning with that heartfelt first look between Cassady and her dad, followed by a fun-filled reveal with her bridesmaids, her ultimate hype crew. After exchanging vows surrounded by family and friends, the newlyweds embraced a beautiful tradition with a receiving line, personally greeting each of their guests and thanking them for celebrating alongside them. After greeting the newlyweds, the guests were driven by White Oak 1838 staff to the patio for cocktail hour where they enjoyed signature cocktails and hors d’oeuvres.

Before their couple’s portraits, Cassady and Andrew slipped away for private vows, sharing quiet promises with one another before we explored the grounds for photos. The towering tree at White Oak 1838 created the perfect backdrop for a private, quiet moment and timeless photographs. The evening rewarded us with an absolutely breathtaking sunset that made their portraits even more unforgettable.

The celebration continued with joyful dancing, including a special money dance that reflected the couple’s generous hearts. In honor of Cassady’s work as a pediatric RN, they donated 50% of the money dance proceeds to WVU Children’s Hospital, making their wedding day a blessing not only for themselves but for families in their community.

As the sun gave way to the stars, guests gathered for a sparkling sendoff, lighting the night with sparklers before everyone danced the evening away. It was a day overflowing with love, laughter, and intentional moments that perfectly reflected Cassady and Andrew’s story.
