Jessee & Dane – Terrace at Tibbs Run

On 6/27/2026 I had the honor of documenting Jessee and Dane Lambert’s wedding at the beautiful Terrace at Tibbs Run in the WV Botanic Gardens in Morgantown, West Virginia, and it was a day filled with meaning from beginning to end. Their journey to this moment wasn’t a short one, after spending four years navigating long-distance life between West Virginia, Ohio, and Virginia, they’re finally together, building a home with their beloved cat.

Their ceremony was one of the most heartfelt and memorable I’ve ever witnessed. Surrounded by the lush gardens, they exchanged vows beneath soft, overcast skies while a gentle mist drifted through the day, creating the dreamiest light for every photograph. Although rain had been in the forecast, Jessee had the perfect explanation for why it held off during the ceremony.. they buried the sausage the night before, a beloved wedding superstition said to bring good weather! Whether it was luck, tradition, or a little bit of both, the timing couldn’t have been more perfect.

Cheers to the Lamberts! After years of waiting, their wedding day was every bit as beautiful, emotional, and unforgettable as their love story.
